The Witnessing Body
An Introduction to Sexuality-Informed Therapeutic Practice, Self-Pleasure, and the Processwork Frame
A two-day intensive for therapists, counsellors, psychologists, and processworkers
---------------
There are things your clients need to bring into the room that they cannot yet say out loud.
The erotic. The grief that lives in the body. The shame that has no name. The parts of themselves they have learned to keep small, hidden, or separate from the therapeutic relationship entirely.
This two-day intensive is an invitation — for clinicians who sense that sexuality belongs in the therapeutic frame, and who want to develop the capacity, the clinical language, and the somatic foundation to be present with it.
Delivered by Rachel Rowlatt — Process-Oriented Psychotherapist, Sexologist, and PACFA-accredited Counsellor — The Witnessing Body draws on the lineages of Process-Oriented Psychology (Arnold Mindell), tantra-informed practice, and the Self-Pleasure Modality™ to offer practitioners a genuinely embodied clinical introduction to sexuality-informed therapeutic work.

Across two days, you will:
Be guided into an understanding of Process-Oriented Psychology as a clinical framework for following sexuality, altered states, erotic energy, and secondary processes — rather than pathologising or shutting them down.
Develop somatic awareness of your own flirts, disturbances, and internal responses when sexuality arises in the therapeutic space — because you can only meet a client as deeply as you have met yourself.
Experience the Self-Pleasure Modality™ as a clothes-on, embodied practice — not as performance, but as presence. This practice is one of self-touch only; participants are guided to relate to their own body. There is no touch between participants.
Explore the neurobiology of safety, limbic resonance, and co-regulation — and understand why your nervous system is your most powerful clinical tool.
Build a foundational therapeutic framework for being with clients in a sexuality context — with clarity, ethics, and genuine somatic groundedness.

Who this is for
Therapists, counsellors, psychologists, and processworkers who have an interest in sexuality-informed practice and want a rigorous, embodied clinical introduction. No prior experience in sexuality work is required — only genuine curiosity and a willingness to meet yourself along the way.
A note on scope

It is an introduction — and for those who feel called to go deeper, it is a natural threshold into the full SPM™ Certification Program. Participants who choose to undertake the full SPM™ Certification will receive the full $700 investment as a credit toward their enrolment.
